Credential Programs
Cal Poly's School of Education offers credential programs in elementary and secondary teaching, special education, and educational administration. To begin one's career in education, individuals typically earn a preliminary credential, followed by 2 years of instructional service leading to a clear credential.

Individuals interested in working in the field of educational technology may earn a Certificate in Educational Technology. The Educational Technology specialization allows holders of a Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential to earn a Supplementary Authorization in Computer Concepts and Applications.
